Learning to work with your angels is a wonderful thing. Angels like to be acknowledged and also love to be called upon for help-that is their sole purpose-to help us whenever and wherever they can. They cannot help us in any way if we don't ask for their help- unless we find ourselves in a life threatening situation, and it's not our time to go.
We are usually assigned 2 angels that stay with us throughout our time here on earth. We can, however, ask for many more if we so choose. If we happen to be in a difficult situation, we can call on as many as we wish. We can also send angels to other people to help them also-if it is for that other person's highest good.
Our angels lavish us with love and compassion. They do not judge us, nor do they try to coerce us in any way. They are there to help and protect us, to console us when we're down and to rejoice with us when we're happy.
There isn't any task that is too lowly or not 'Divine' enough for them to help us with.
There was a time that I didn't know too much about our Angelic friends. One day, I was chatting in a spiritual chatroom on the internet. Many people do readings online, and this particular day, a woman sent me a personal message to tell me that I had 2 angelic beings with me. She went on to describe a male and a female angel. Angels don't always have a gender, but they show themselves to us in ways we can comprehend.
I thanked her, but I didn't think too much of it, so put it up on my mental shelf-something I have learned to do with readings that I have had. I don't dwell on these things, as many of these readings mean little to me, and some predictions never come to fruition.
The very next day, a friend of mine popped up on the computer, and told me that while he had been meditating, he focussed on me, and he picked up an angel that is with me. Well, needless to say, I was rather dumbfounded when he described the female angel that I had been told about the day before!
I let him know that I was aware of her, and that someone had told me about her already. I didn't tell him about the male angel though.
The next day, the same thing happened. My friend again popped up and told me that he had again focussed on me in meditation. This time, he said he saw a male angel with me. Well…I was most impressed when he again described this other angel to the same detail as the woman had a few days previous.
This time, I filled my friend in on the reading I had had. I told him that there must certainly be something with these angels! It was now time for me to do some investigating of my own!
I went into the search engines and began to find as much info as I could about angels, how to contact them etc.
I found that angels could be talked to, contacted and called upon through just talking in my head or out loud. Also, through meditation, we can learn to connect on a deeper level with them, sense them and even hear and see them.
My interest was certainly peeked!
Not long after, my daughter was to start school. I was a little nervous because she has epilepsy and a learning disability. I was worried that she may have a seizure at school and that she wouldn't cope.
On the morning she started school, I sat her on my lap, wrapped my arms around her and told her that everything would be alright and that she would love school. I told her that her angels would be with her.
At that moment, I felt a presence next to the table. When I tuned into that energy/presence, I saw/felt/sensed the most beautiful angel. She was glowing and just like you would expect an angel to look like. She wore a peachy coloured flowing dress and had wings of gossamer. I mentally asked her name, and she replied "Mary".
I told my daughter that Mary would look after her and if she ever felt scared or lonely that she could just call upon Mary and she would be there.
Woah…I hoped my daughter didn't think mummy was losing it! In 5 years, Leigha has only had 1 seizure at school.
Around about this time, I was attuned to reiki. I began to incorporate the angels in my healing work. After all, having 5 or more angels working with me on a client, is better than just me.
I also began sensing angels with friends on the net. I could describe them and tell my friends where they were standing. I could ask the angels to help me with healings over the net.
It is a wonderful thing to be blessed with being able to sense, see, hear and work with our angelic friends.
I am hoping, that I can assist and give the tools you will need to be able to start your own angelic journey-if it isn't already started.
I believe on some level, you have certainly already begun this journey-whether you are conscious of it or not. I believe that each of us has the ability to not only connect with our own angels, but to connect with others' to help them also.
We are all One…connecting and sharing at deep levels. The more we learn for ourselves, the more we can pass on to others, the better off humanity, as a whole, will be.
Imagine, if everyone learns about their own angels, and has their own experiences to dispel any doubt, our earth will be a much nicer and kinder place to live. This is my vision, and that of the angels. We are here to lift humanity into the light. Those of us that do this work with this intention are the Light Workers or the Earth Angels.
A lot of my learning has been through Doreen Virtues books and oracle cards. She has a most wonderful way of telling it as it is without fanfare or complicated writings.
Reading Doreen's books has shown her journey and how she has grown and progressed through her own experiences. The things she has learnt and what they mean to her. As we travel along our own paths, we see that our journeys are quite different, yet very much the same. We learn, mature, make mistakes - but above all, learn to live and love with compassion, truth and honour.
The most simple way to connect with our angels, is to simply talk to them…often. While doing those dreary chores-driving to work, pegging the washing, doing the dishes. It matters not what we are doing, just by talking with our angels we can begin that most important connection. You may feel silly at first, but that's ok. Persevere. There will come a time when you begin to get mental impressions of answers to your questions or comments to your musings. Before you know it, you will be having a 2-way conversation. I still remember the first time I realised that I was having a whole conversation. It blew me away! I was getting actual answers and comments to what I was talking about! It certainly started off as just me chatting out loud about the situation that I was in at the time.
Another way of getting a connection established is to go into a meditative state and call for your angels to be present.
You can ask for assistance for any particular challenge you may be facing at the time, and see if you can 'tune in' for some advice.
If I have any electrical devices that aren't working correctly, I ask for angels to come help fix them. One time, my washing machine wouldn't spin. I had a load of towels in and a tub of water that I couldn't spin out. I tried about a half dozen times, to no avail. Sighing, I reached for the washing machine mechanic's phone number, dialled and asked to have it fixed. He couldn't get here until the next day. I asked the angels several time throughout the day, and tried the washing machine again, and each time it got to the spin cycle… nothing…
I was resigned to the fact that I would have to pay the $100+ fee for it to be fixed. I must say, that I was a little disappointed, as I'd heard that we could call upon the angels for anything, and our prayers would be answered…yeah right!
I gave up.
The next morning, for I-don't-know-what-reason, I switched on the washing machine. It went through it's moves and grooves as did I while making breakfast. All of a sudden, it got to that place where it does the spin cycle…and it did it! No kidding! The darn thing spun those towels out! I danced around in my nighty, calling out thanks to the angels, and my kids thought I'd gone bonkers! Next, I rang the washing machine mechanic and cancelled my appointment. I was walking on air that day!
This is just one example of how I have been assisted by the angels. They helped me find a house to move into-helped me move even. They always help me find a carpark, keep the lights green when I'm in a hurry. They helped orchestrate me being in the right place at the right time to get the job best suited to me-I simply put it out there to them exactly what I wanted…let it go…and voila! It came back to me perfectly!
I have absolutely no doubt what-so-ever in my mind that they are there, always beside me, walking with me waiting with baited breathe on what they can do for me next. That is what they do…they are there to serve us so that we can be the best that we can be. I know that I haven't come close to working out just what they can do for me, but I am sure willing to, and working on finding out!
